Not a match report, as I cant even recall the last time (first time, ever?) bringing home the big money it's all about safety and having a good time for me. First official match of 2015 at the Good Ole Boys club in Pulaski TN so camera in pocket and a non FT rifle in tow just for show & tell I headed out before the Rooster crowed. Wasn't planning on shooting ( haven't in a year or so) but as the weather was questionable we had the choice of shooting out in the Pines or from under the Pavilion. Pat had brought a bunch of extra target (thanks for all your work friend) and set most of them out "just in case", just before match time it was declared "it's raining now". So shooting from under cover was called for. David Slade offered the lend me any of the three WFTF rigs he had brought - nice of people to bring extra rifles all set up!- and I chose a Daystate 2000 with a Tasco scope. Really nice old school rifle with some pedigree. We also had a new shooter who seemed to have a nice time trying out all sorts of rifles and scopes and such. He was nice enough to let me try his rigs, some type of "Nitro Piston" crosman I believe, actually a very shoot shooting rifle, with an awful trigger, but fun and it's always good to shoot every airgun you can get your hands on, right?
Pat picked up his new rifle:

but had to shoot the match with his older one:

after the match he mounted up a scope and put a few pellets through his new TM:

the rifle I had never seen /used before:Image
The Daystate 200 I ended up shooting (scored a 32 with the windage off 6 clicks at 25 yards, yup sticking to it)

I did have the chance to use this one but just like the classics better:

And would the shooter like to try a Daystate? Yes he would:

And while he could have borrowed a rifle he went with the (best idea normally) run what ya brung rig:

David B. showed me how you recharge the (lighter weight) aluminum hpa tube on his rig:

Kevin used his 97, with range marks all the way out to 25 yards, lol:

I sqaded with Jim and his custom MFR:

David B. , doesn't matter to much what he shoots, he has these pellets that hit so many KZ's:

Naturally were this a match report there would be more shooters, scores, et al. but I just wanted to say I hope everyone is having as nice a weekend.

John,

I missed this sorta report and pictures. Thanks for putting in the pics. A lot of nice rifles. The TM1000 is working very good. Shoots much better than I do. But then, don't they all? I changed the power back a little. About 875 fps and with JSB 8.4, it gets over 80 shots with an 11fps spread. At 55 yards, I'm putting 5 shots in a 1" KZ easily from the bench. Can't hardly do it consistently from the seated position. This is a great rifle. Heading over to David slades this Saturday.

Hope to see you soon,

Pat
