You said two things.
First, a tripod is not allowed in the lane box.
Then you said that using a monopod, bipod or tripod is legal when you are sitting.

I assume that your saying that the seat, the monopod, bipod and tripod are outside the lane box. Is the reason why you can use the seat, monopod, bipod and tripod is because they are outside the lane box? Or can you use them because they are outside the lane box and you are sitting down? Is sitting down a necessity to be allowed to use the monopod, bipod and tripod?

Chris, the tripod would NOT be used for RANGING, just resting the gun on between shots. Like if I put my gun on my chair or the ground or in my gun cradle. It's just in a much more convenient place. I created a new thread to make that more obvious. Please respond to my new thread.
