No firearms are allowed on the Field Target ranges

Date: May 6th

Open, Hunter, WFTF and the Club Unlimited Class as defined by Tar Heel Air Gun Club.
No pistol matches.

The 2017 American Airgun Field Target Association (AAFTA) rules will be followed for Open, Hunter and WFTF.

Entry Fee:
$10 for CCGCI members; $15 for Non-members; Juniors (<21) shoot free
Walk-ons are welcome. Please bring exact change.

Other Details:
Sight in range opens at 9:00, match begins at 10:00
Minimum of 60 shots, 2 targets per lane, 2 shots per target, Troyer TBD, timers will be used.
To avoid damaging the targets, the power level of your rifle must be less than 20 ft-lbs. Most 0.177 caliber rifles meet this requirement, but .22 caliber rifles usually do not.

Eye protection is required for all shooters at all times as well as spectators when in proximity of the firing line.
IT IS MANDATORY THAT YOUR AIR GUN HAS AN EMPTY BREECH INDICATOR AT THIS RANGE. This will be enforced, especially when guns are carried in totes.
The FT range is a work-in-progress so make sure to wear comfortable, closed toed walking shoes since the ground is rough in spots and some lanes are separated by 50+ yards.

I just wanted to thank you once again for all the hard work you and the crew put into making this match a success. I really enjoyed my day and the challenge you presented us. The course in my opinion was well laid out and by design very challenging and we loved it. Despite the strong winds and changing conditions many shooter were still able to step up and produce some really good scores. Congratulations to all the winners and finishers. Just being there made me a better shooter and can't wait to get back. Thank you again for all you've done and will do for the sport going forward.
