Award for Meritorious Achievement
Every organization is obligated to recognize, from time to time, certain individuals whose contributions toward its goals exceed the standards that it has established for itself. The Board of Governors hereby resolves that "The AAFTA Award for Meritorious Achievement" will henceforth serve to acknowledge those who have made outstanding contributions toward the promotion of Airgun Field Target Shooting in the United States.

Hall of Champions
Every year there is a National Championship match open to all Field Target competitors in the United States and abroad. Among the American shooters there are championship trophies awarded for the top PCP, International, Hunter, and Piston Class scores. Those that hold this award are recognized at the National Champion for that class, for that year. It's a coveted trophy and one hard fought and well deserved for those that make the best effort and achieve it. The WFTF and Hunter Class Champions are more recent additions, so you will see only those recognized in more recent years. We have had a broad range of shooters win these awards including some that have taken the honor multiple times. Thank you to all past, present and future competitors for making the sport what it has grown to be today and what it will grow to be tomorrow.

the annual shooting season, with per-class awards presented at the AAFTA Nationals.
